got the video working better but now the audio sounds really bad : /
Anyway, if you could hear it, the notes now have more natural sounding decay with variable length.
I also added a master volume control at the bottom to stop clipping.
Unfortunately this also means when I’m just outputting through my computer speakers its kind of quiet.

pretty cool stuff
Excuse the quality.
Quicktime can’t play back and record at the same time, so I used my phone.
Another Test with Random inputs, this time playing with modulation based the tracked point’s position.
While working on adding some variation to note on the grid I noticed that some notes were “sticking” and staying on. This is a fix for that and a test for controlling volume and decay with envelopes
made with some random-ish video as input.
New defaults and control options for testing tomorrow.
Made one last change… the volume now scales so the transitions between levels are smoother.
… still needs work as you can probably tell.
After much Cajoling Max and my patches are working on Ben’s laptop.
I’m editing the patch to make it more suitable for the undergrad show.
It also expands on some changes from yesterday.
The sound of my computer complaining overwhelms some of the sound in the video.
Cleaned up and added new controls to the patch.
